022Al Ain Oasis
A UNESCO World Heritage landscape of roughly 147,000 date palms, kept alive for centuries by the falaj, a gravity-fed channel system that carries water through the plantations. The shaded paths are the coolest walk in the city and the best place to understand why people settled here.
Why you will enjoy it: Green, quiet and cool. It explains Al Ain better than any museum label.

Entry is free and the oasis is listed as open daily, 9 AM to 7 PM. Hours can change, so we check before your date.
033Al Jahili Fort
Built in the 1890s for the ruling Al Nahyan family and restored in the 2000s, Al Jahili Fort is a sun-dried mud-brick fortress with round towers and a calm inner courtyard.
Why you will enjoy it: Strong photographs, real history and a short, easy visit.

044Al Ain Palace Museum or another heritage stop
The Palace Museum is the former family residence of the late Sheikh Zayed, set beside the oasis, with courtyards and period rooms that show how the ruling family lived before the oil era. We confirm it is open for your date and choose a viable alternative if it is not.
Why you will enjoy it: A rare look at royal life in the old Al Ain.

The official Abu Dhabi culture page has shown this museum closed for renovation since mid 2024. If it is still closed on your date, we replace it with Al Ain Museum or Qasr Al Muwaiji.
5Lunch break
Al Ain has plenty of restaurants, from simple Emirati and Lebanese grills to hotel dining. Your driver can suggest places that fit your budget and whether you want a quick bite or a long table.

066Green Mubazzarah
At the foot of Jebel Hafeet, Green Mubazzarah is a landscaped park of lawns and streams, with natural hot springs nearby. It is a relaxed stop for photographs and a walk between the city and the mountain.
Why you will enjoy it: Greenery and running water against a mountain backdrop is the opposite of what most visitors expect from the UAE.
Sample time 2:00 PM, about 30 to 60 minutes
Park entry is listed as free, with small charges for some activities. Hot springs can be too hot in summer. Arrangements change, so we confirm for your date.
077Jebel Hafeet
Jebel Hafeet rises to roughly 1,200 metres on the border with Oman, and its switchback road is one of the best-known scenic drives in the UAE. Viewpoints along the climb look back over Al Ain’s palm green and desert, and the air at the top is noticeably cooler.
Why you will enjoy it: This is the view people remember. A private vehicle lets you stop at the viewpoints instead of driving past.

We stop only where it is safe to park. Bring a light layer, since it can be breezy at height. The mountain drive itself is listed as free.
8Return to Abu Dhabi
After Jebel Hafeet your driver takes you back to your Abu Dhabi hotel or pickup point. Arrival time depends on traffic, the attractions you chose and how long you spent at each stop, so we do not promise a fixed return time.

Plan roughly 8 to 10 hours door to door for the full route. Fewer stops make a shorter day.

One of the few traditional camel markets still working in the UAE, with traders, pens and camels. It adds a living, local side of Al Ain, and it fits best in the cooler morning hours.
Why you will enjoy it: Authentic and very photogenic. Add it by dropping another stop, because the day is already full.
Adds about 45 to 60 minutes
Activity varies by day and season, so we confirm the market is active for your date. Al Ain Zoo, Hili Archaeological Park and Qasr Al Muwaiji are other possible swaps. They need paid tickets or extra time and replace some of the stops above.

Yes. Visit Al Ain lists entry to the oasis as free, with daily opening from 9 AM to 7 PM. Hours can change on holidays, so we check before your date.
Are museum admission tickets included?
No. Tickets are not part of the vehicle price. Al Ain Museum was reported at AED 47.25 for adults and free under 18 after its reopening, so check the current price at the door.
Is Al Ain Zoo included in the standard itinerary?
No. The zoo is a large attraction that needs a paid ticket and a big share of the day, so it replaces several of the other stops. If it matters most to you, tell us and we plan a different day around it.
Can we customise the itinerary?
