Who can drive

No driving licence is needed. Drivers must be 16 or older. Younger children ride as passengers with a parent, and a 4 seater fits a family.

Safety

Will it roll over

Every Can-Am has a roll cage, bucket seats and seatbelts. Keep your belt on, follow the guide and drive at a pace you are comfortable with. Accidental damage is fine, and over speeding or deliberate damage carries a cost told on the spot. Our buggies are insured, but if a very large loss happens through careless driving, the guest pays for it.

Pregnancy, back or heart issues

Dune riding is bumpy. Tell us before booking if you are pregnant or have back, neck or heart problems, and we will advise you honestly. Wear closed shoes and bring sunglasses.

What if I damage the buggy?

If damage happens naturally or by accident, there is no problem. If it comes from over speeding or careless driving, a cost applies, which we explain on the spot depending on the situation. Our buggies are insured, but if a very large loss happens through careless driving, the guest pays for it. Your guide helps you drive so this stays rare.

Can I book a buggy without the evening safari?

Yes. You can book the buggy on its own. Come in your own car, or ask for our private pickup, which costs extra. We pick you up from your location and drop you back after the buggy tour.
