Good to Know: Weather, Clothes, Kids and Accessibility
November to March is the most comfortable for walking Old Dubai. From May to September we put indoor and Downtown stops in the midday heat and the outdoor ones nearer sunset.
The standard start is 10 AM. Evening and night city tours run at the same car price; tell us the start time you want. For an after-dark plan see the Dubai night tour.
Light cotton and comfortable walking shoes. Cover shoulders and knees for the mosque and the old souks, and bring sunglasses.
Welcome at any age. Ask for a child seat when you book, and stop whenever the children need a break.
Your driver waits while you walk, and any stop can be shortened or seen from the car. Message us before booking so we send the right vehicle.
The tour runs through Ramadan. Some cafes and stops keep shorter hours, and your driver plans the order around them.

Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. Four guests on the half day pay about USD 48 (AED 175) each and six pay about USD 32 (AED 117) each. A solo traveller pays the same car price, so the tour is best value for families and groups.
What is included in a Dubai city tour?
A private air-conditioned car for your group, a licensed English-speaking driver-guide, hotel pickup and drop-off, fuel, Salik tolls, parking, bottled water and every photo stop on the route. Entry tickets, meals and the AED 1 abra fare are not included.
Does the tour include the Burj Khalifa?
Every tour stops at the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall for photos. Going up to the observation deck is optional and not in the car price: we book tickets on request on WhatsApp and confirm the price for your time slot before you commit.
How long is a Dubai city tour, and what time does it start?
The half day is 4 hours, from 10 AM to about 2 PM. The full day is 8 hours, from 10 AM to about 6 PM. The shortest booking is 4 hours, so a 3-hour tour is booked as a half day. Need more time on the day? Add an extra hour for USD 41 (AED 150), or USD 54 (AED 200) in the Land Cruiser.
Should I book the half day or the full day?
Book the half day for the Burj Khalifa area, Old Dubai, the Creek, the souks and Jumeirah. Book the full day if you also want the Palm and Atlantis, Dubai Marina and JBR, plus time for lunch, all at a slower pace.
Is the driver also a tour guide?
Yes. Your driver is a licensed guide who speaks English and explains each stop as you go. There is no audio device. If you need another language, ask on WhatsApp before booking and we confirm what we can arrange.
Which cars do you use?
A sedan, a 4×4 SUV such as a Nissan Patrol, a Toyota Previa, or our premium Toyota Land Cruiser. Every car is insured and air-conditioned, with a seatbelt for each seat.
How many people fit in one car?
Up to 7 guests. For a bigger group, send us the exact group and ages on WhatsApp and we assign the right car.
Do you run a Dubai city tour at night?
Yes. Evening and night city tours run at the same car price as the day tour. Tell us the start time you want, or see our Dubai night tour for an after-dark route.
Can I do the Dubai city tour from Abu Dhabi?
Yes. We collect you at your Abu Dhabi hotel, drive you to Dubai for the tour and bring you back. The car is USD 408 (AED 1,500) as a sedan or 4×4, or USD 490 (AED 1,800) as a Land Cruiser.
Can I combine the city tour with a desert safari?
Yes. We run both, so most guests take the city tour one day and the Dubai desert safari on another. Add the safari in the booking panel and we plan the two days together.
Can I add the Dubai Frame, Miracle Garden or Global Village?
Yes. Tell us which places you want and the driver adjusts the route. Entry tickets are extra and booked on request, and seasonal places depend on their opening months, so we confirm before you plan around them.
Which stops on a Dubai city tour are free?
The Burj Khalifa and fountain area from outside, Al Fahidi, the Gold and Spice Souks, the Burj Al Arab photo spot, The Pointe on the Palm and the Marina walk all cost nothing. The abra is AED 1 a person.
Is the Old Dubai city tour different?
Yes. The Old Dubai city tour spends its hours in Al Fahidi, Deira and on the Creek. This tour mixes the old town with Downtown, Jumeirah and, on the full day, the Palm and the Marina.
Do I pay in advance, and can I pay by card?
No deposit and no advance payment. You pay on the day in cash, in any major currency, or by card. Card payments carry a bank fee of 8 to 10 percent, so cash is easiest.
Can I cancel for free?
