Our overnight desert safari in Abu Dhabi costs USD 109 (AED 400) per person, with a minimum of 5 guests because you travel in a private car: USD 545 (AED 2,000) for up to five. We collect you from about 3 PM, drive 45 to 55 minutes to our own camp at Al Khatim, and you get the dune drive, a camel ride, sandboarding, a BBQ dinner with three live shows, a private tent for your group with proper bedding, and breakfast in the dunes before the drive home.

Shared overnight trips from Abu Dhabi are advertised at about AED 349 to AED 470 per person. Ours is private: your group rides in its own car, door to door, and sleeps in its own tent, so the minimum charge is for 5 guests. Prefer a Land Cruiser, the best experience? Add USD 136 (AED 500) to any total: USD 681 (AED 2,500) for up to five, USD 790 (AED 2,900) for six. From age 3 children pay the guest price.

Booking terms
Licence, Payment and Cancellation
We hold a DCT Abu Dhabi tourism licence and have hosted guests at Al Khatim since 2015.
Nothing to pay upfront. Settle on the day in cash, any major currency, or by card (the bank adds 8 to 10 percent).
Cancel or move your night free until 12 hours before pickup. If the weather stops it, pick a new date or a full release.

Up to 5 guests pay USD 545 (AED 2,000) in total and a group of 6 pays USD 654 (AED 2,400) in a 4×4. A Land Cruiser adds USD 136 (AED 500). Your private tent is included and babies under 3 are free.
What is the best overnight desert safari in Abu Dhabi?
Look for three things: a camp the operator owns, a private tent instead of a shared one, and a short drive from the city. Ours ticks all three, with our own camp at Al Khatim, 45 to 55 minutes away.
Is this a luxury or glamping stay?
No. It is a classic desert camp with a private tent, mattresses and blankets, and shared camp toilets. There is no air conditioning; tents have a fan in summer and a heater in winter.
Is your overnight safari the same as a Liwa overnight trip?
No. Our camp is at Al Khatim, on the road towards Al Ain. Liwa is a much longer drive from Abu Dhabi city.
Is it safe to sleep in the desert camp?
Yes. You stay inside our own DCT-licensed camp, in a tent for your group only, with toilets on site and our team reachable 24/7 on WhatsApp.
Is an overnight desert safari worth it?
If you want more than a few hours in the dunes, yes. You get the full evening at camp, then the quiet after the crowd leaves, a night under the stars and breakfast in the desert.
