Abu Dhabi City Tour with Ferrari World, Quick Answers

How much does it cost?
Transport is USD 190 per car (up to 7 guests) for the half-day combo, not per person. Ferrari World tickets are not included: you buy them yourself at face value and we never add a markup.
Why don’t you sell the ticket?
Most operators resell Ferrari World tickets with a hidden margin. We drop you at the gate, you buy or show your own ticket, and the saving stays with you.
How long is the tour?
4 to 8 hours of city touring depending on the package, plus your time inside the park. The driver waits and takes you back.
What do I actually see?
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque inside, photo stops at Emirates Palace, the Corniche, Etihad Towers and Heritage Village, then Ferrari World on Yas Island.
Can I start from Dubai?
Yes, Dubai pickup is quoted on WhatsApp for the extra distance, still per car, still door to door.
Is it worth combining?
If you have one day for Abu Dhabi, this combo covers the capital’s landmarks and the world’s largest indoor theme park without a second trip down the E11.

Quick answer: The Abu Dhabi city tour with Ferrari World combines the capital’s landmarks with a visit to the Ferrari-branded theme park on Yas Island. At Royal Arabian Safari the transport costs USD 190 per car for a 4-hour half-day 4×4 (up to 7 guests), USD 218 for a 6-hour 7-seater, USD 286 for a 6-hour Land Cruiser, USD 245 for a full-day Land Cruiser and USD 408 for an 8-hour Lexus: all per vehicle, not per person. The tour covers the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (an interior visit; the small entry fee is included in the per-car price), Emirates Palace, the Abu Dhabi Corniche, Etihad Towers and Heritage Village, then drops you at Ferrari World and waits. The Ferrari World ticket is NOT included and we do not resell it, you buy your own at face value, with zero markup from us. Ferrari World is home to Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest rollercoaster, which reaches 240 km/h in about 4.9 seconds. Most guests spend 4 to 5 hours in the park. The ticket truth: why our Ferrari World ticket is not included

Let us be blunt about something the rest of this search result will not tell you.

Every operator ranking on page one for “Abu Dhabi city tour with Ferrari World” sells you a bundle, city tour plus park ticket, one price, usually quoted per person. The prices we found in July range from around USD 30 to USD 218 per person. That bundle looks convenient. Here is what it actually is.

Tour operators buy theme-park tickets at a trade rate, a discounted wholesale price the park offers to the travel industry. They then resell that ticket to you, inside a package, at or above the public gate price. The difference between the trade rate and what you pay is their margin. It is not illegal, it is not unusual, and almost every combo tour in the UAE works this way. But it means you are paying a tour company a commission for the privilege of buying a ticket you could have bought yourself in ninety seconds.

We do not do this. Royal Arabian Safari does not resell attraction tickets, not Ferrari World, not Warner Bros. World, not the Louvre, not Qasr Al Watan. You buy your own ticket, at the gate or online, at face value. We charge you for the car, the driver-guide and the day, and nothing else. There is no line on your invoice for a ticket, because we never touched it.

What that means for your wallet

It means our headline number will sometimes look higher than a bundled competitor’s, and we accept that. It also means you can compare like with like: check the current public gate price of a Ferrari World ticket, add it to our per-car transport price, divide by your group size, and compare that against a bundled per-person quote. For groups of four or more, the honest maths almost always favours the unbundled option, because you are paying one vehicle price instead of four, five or six marked-up ticket prices.

We will not print a Ferrari World ticket price on this page, because park pricing changes with season, day of week and promotion, and a stale number would be worse than none. Check the park’s own site for today’s price. That is the only source that is ever current.

What the Abu Dhabi city tour with Ferrari World really costs

Here is our transport pricing, in full, with nothing hidden.

PackageVehicleDurationMax guestsTransport (per car)Per person at full capacity
Half-Day ComboAny 4×44 hrs + park7USD 190USD 27
6-Hour Combo7-Seater6 hrs + park7USD 218USD 31
Land Cruiser ComboLand Cruiser6 hrs + park7USD 286USD 41
Full-Day ComboLand Cruiser6 to 8 hours7USD 245USD 35
Luxury Lexus ComboLexus8 hrs7USD 408USD 58

Add your own park ticket to those figures and you have your true total. That is the whole calculation, and there is nothing else in it.

The market, for comparison

Operator typeAdvertisedStructure
Budget bundled combo~USD 30 per personShared coach + ticket, fixed schedule
Mid-market bundled combo~USD 99 to 450 per personCoach or shared van + ticket
Premium bundled combo~USD 136 to 650 per personPrivate vehicle + ticket, marked up
Royal Arabian SafariUSD 190 to 1000 per carPrivate vehicle only. You buy the ticket. No markup.

Notice the unit. Theirs is per person. Ours is per car. A family of five on a USD 123 bundled combo pays USD 613. The same family pays us USD 218 for the vehicle, plus five tickets bought at face value. Do that arithmetic with today’s gate price and the answer is rarely close.

The combo itinerary, hour by hour

The order matters. We take the mosque first, because it fills from around 10:00, and the park last, because it is indoor and the afternoon heat is irrelevant once you are inside it.

It is your private car, so none of this is fixed. Want to skip Heritage Village and get six hours in the park instead? Say so in the morning and it happens.

Ferrari World entry should be your choice, not a bundle you cannot remove

Here is the finding that shaped this page. On page one for this search, every single result bundles the Ferrari World ticket compulsorily. Not one of them offers a city tour that passes Yas Island, not one lets you take the park ticket out, and not one states that park entry could be excluded at all.

That matters because a family of four looking at a combo has no way to discover the cheaper version of the day they might actually want, the mosque, the Corniche, Emirates Palace, and a look at Yas from the outside, without four park tickets attached.

With us, park entry is an add-on you choose. Take the city tour on its own, or add Ferrari World and we book the ticket for you at the gate price with nothing added on top. Say so when you book and we will build the timing around your entry rather than around a package.

Beyond Yas Island

For the mosque see the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque tour; for a city-only day see the Abu Dhabi city tour or the private city tour.

What the combo pages actually say

Every line below is quoted from a live page-one competitor read today.

One of them does not know which emirate the park is in. A major reseller’s own FAQ answer refers to “Ferrari World Dubai” and gives its hours. The park is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, which is the entire premise of the tour being sold.

One rate card serves zeroes. Another page-one seller’s live booking widget renders Adults, Children and Infant selectors all showing “Price: USD 0”. The same page shows two different prices for the same tour, USD 109 per person and USD 99 as a “dated price”, with no rule saying which one you pay. It adds a holiday surcharge of “USD 7 to 50” per person, a hundred per cent spread with no rule for which end applies, attached to a hard-coded winter window that will keep firing after the season ends.

Its clock does not match its own claim. It states a 10-hour tour while publishing a pickup of 08:30 to 09:30 and a drop-off of 19:00 to 19:30, anywhere from 9.5 to 11 hours. It gives the park’s hours as “11am to 8pm, Fridays to Thursdays” and then says it closes at 10pm on Thursdays and Fridays: the same days, two closing times, one page. Its review widget displays “Vote count: 8” and “4.5/5” beside “No votes so far! Be the first to rate this post”. And it has no exclusions section at all, so the lunch buffet only appears later as a paid add-on.

And one cancellation policy charges you in both directions. A page-one reseller states, verbatim, that cancelling one day or more before travel incurs the total booking cost as a cancellation charge, and its other branch is equally punitive. Cancelling earlier does not help you.

Every one of the five pages examined prices per person. One mentions private pickup “at additional charge” and then never prices it.

How we sell it

Per car, not per person. One number for the vehicle whether there is one of you or six, and children add nothing, which on a Ferrari World day matters twice, because the park ticket is per head and the car is not. The correct child restraints are fitted free; in the UAE a child up to four must be in a child safety seat and a front-seat passenger must be at least 145 cm and at least ten. (u.ae.)

Free cancellation up to 12 hours before pickup, no deposit, no booking fee, nothing added at checkout, and payment on the day. Park tickets booked at gate price with nothing on top. And a real hour count for the day, with the park time you actually asked for rather than a number that does not survive its own pickup window.

When you should not book this combo

If Ferrari World is the only thing you want, do not buy a city tour at all. Buy the park ticket directly, and take a taxi or the free Yas Express shuttle if you are staying on Yas Island. You will spend less and lose nothing.

And if you have young children, be honest about the day’s length. A full-day city tour with a theme park attached is ten hours of heat, queues and driving. Splitting it across two days, the city one morning, the park another, is usually the better trip, even though it is the smaller booking for us.

The rides that actually matter

Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest rollercoaster

This is why people come. Formula Rossa accelerates from 0 to 240 km/h in approximately 4.9 seconds, using a hydraulic launch system derived from the catapults used to launch aircraft from carrier decks. It reaches around 52 metres at its highest point, and the track is modelled on the Monza circuit.

Riders are issued protective goggles before boarding. This is not theatre: at 240 km/h, airborne sand and insects strike the eye hard enough to cause real injury. It is the only rollercoaster in the world where eye protection is mandatory, and putting them on is the moment most people realise what they have agreed to.

Flying Aces

Built around the story of Ferrari’s founding aviator Francesco Baracca, Flying Aces has one of the steepest non-inverted rollercoaster drops in the world and the tallest loop of any coaster. If Formula Rossa is about raw speed, this one is about height and hang-time.

Turbo Track

A vertical launch that fires you through the roof of the building and back down. Short, and genuinely disorienting.

Galleria Ferrari and the factory tour

The calm centre of the park: a collection of historic and current Ferraris, and a simulated tour of the Maranello engine plant. Worth an hour even if you never ride anything.

Junior GT and Bell’Italia

The children’s side. Junior GT is a driving school where small children take a scaled Ferrari around a circuit. Bell’Italia is a slow ride through a miniature Italy in scaled Ferrari Spiders, the ride most parents remember more fondly than the coasters.

Why book direct with Royal Arabian Safari?

We are a DCT-licensed UAE tour operator with over 5,000 guests and a 4.9-star average rating. We own our vehicles and employ our drivers. We are not an agency reselling a coach seat and a marked-up park ticket, which is precisely why we can price per car and refuse to touch your ticket.

  • Zero markup on attraction tickets: we do not sell them at all.
  • No booking fee, no service charge, no processing fee.
  • No prepayment. Confirm on WhatsApp, pay on the day.
  • No card details handed to a third-party platform.
  • Free cancellation.

Who wrote this page

Written by the operations team at Royal Arabian Safari, a DCT-licensed tour operator in the UAE. We run this route in our own vehicles. Every price here is one we charge. Facts about Ferrari World and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque come from the operators of those attractions; where park pricing is concerned we have deliberately printed no number, because park prices change and a stale figure would mislead you. Check the park’s own site for today’s price. If anything on this page is wrong, message us and we will correct it.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your Abu Dhabi city tour with Ferrari World.

How much is the Abu Dhabi city tour with Ferrari World? +
Our transport is USD 190 per car for the half-day 4×4 (up to 7 guests), USD 218 for a 6-hour 7-seater, USD 286 for a 6-hour Land Cruiser, USD 245 for a full-day Land Cruiser and USD 408 for an 8-hour Lexus, all per vehicle, not per person. The Ferrari World ticket is not included; you buy your own. Most competitors sell a bundled combo at roughly USD 30 to 650 per person with the ticket built in. Run the numbers for your group before you assume bundling is cheaper, for four or more people it usually is not.
Is the Ferrari World ticket included in your tour? +
No, and that is deliberate. We do not resell attraction tickets at all. You buy your Ferrari World ticket yourself, at the gate or online, at face value, and we drive you there, park, and wait. Operators who bundle the ticket are buying it at a trade rate and reselling it to you at a markup. We would rather charge you honestly for the car and let you pay the park directly.
What is Formula Rossa? +
Formula Rossa is the fastest rollercoaster in the world, and it is the reason most people come to Ferrari World. It accelerates from 0 to 240 km/h in approximately 4.9 seconds, using a hydraulic launch system derived from aircraft-carrier catapults. Riders are issued protective goggles because at that speed airborne sand and insects are a genuine hazard to the eyes. The ride reaches around 52 metres at its highest point.
How long do you need at Ferrari World? +
Most guests spend 4 to 5 hours inside. The park has more than 40 rides and attractions across roughly 200,000 m² under one roof. If you only want Formula Rossa, Flying Aces and the Ferrari factory tour, three hours is enough. If you are travelling with children who want everything, budget a full day and book our full-day or Lexus tour so the car is not waiting on a clock.
Can we do the mosque and Ferrari World in one day? +
Yes, it is the single most-booked combination in Abu Dhabi, and it works well. We take the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque first, in the morning, before the crowd builds from around 10:00, then the Corniche and Emirates Palace, then lunch, then Ferrari World in the afternoon. The mosque and Yas Island are about 30 minutes apart by car.
Is Ferrari World good for young children? +
Yes, though Formula Rossa is not. The park is divided by intensity: Junior GT and the Bell’Italia miniature-Italy ride are built for small children, while Formula Rossa, Flying Aces and Turbo Track carry height restrictions. Because it is fully indoor and air-conditioned, it is also one of the few places in Abu Dhabi that works with children in July and August, when outdoor temperatures pass 42°C.
Do you go inside Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque on the combo tour? +
Yes: inside, not a photo stop from the car park. You walk the main prayer hall, which holds the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet (5,627 m²) and the largest of its seven Swarovski-crystal chandeliers. The mosque has 82 domes and 1,096 columns. Entry is free for every visitor, nobody can legitimately charge you for it. We handle the drive, the timing and the dress code.
Can we swap Ferrari World for Warner Bros. World or SeaWorld? +
Absolutely. Yas Island also holds Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the region’s largest indoor theme park at roughly 1.65 million square feet, plus SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld. Same tour, same price, different drop-off. Tell us on WhatsApp which park you want and we will build the day around it. The ticket is still yours to buy.
Can we do this combo from Dubai? +
Yes. The prices on this page are for pickup inside Abu Dhabi city. From Dubai it is a full day of 8 to 10 hours, the drive is about 140 km and 90 minutes each way, and we quote Dubai pickup directly on WhatsApp rather than advertise a “from” price. See our Abu Dhabi City Tour from Dubai page for the full detail.

Booking With Us: Common Questions

Is Ferrari World open every day? +
Yes, the park states it is open to visitors every day, year round. It sits on Yas Island, about 15 minutes from the airport and 50 minutes from Dubai. (ferrariworldabudhabi.com.)
Is the price per person or per car? +
Per car. That matters twice on this trip: the park ticket is per head and cannot be avoided, so the part we control should not be per head as well. Every one of the five page-one competitors examined prices per person; one mentions private pickup “at additional charge” and never prices it.
Do children add to the tour price? +
No, you are paying for the vehicle. Park tickets are still per child, but the car is not. Child restraints are fitted free: in the UAE a child up to four must be in a child safety seat and a front-seat passenger must be at least 145 cm and at least ten years old. (u.ae.)
How long is the day? +
We give you a real figure and hold to it. Check anyone else’s: a page-one operator claims a 10-hour tour while publishing a pickup of 08:30 to 09:30 and a drop-off of 19:00 to 19:30, which is anywhere from 9.5 to 11 hours.
What are the park opening hours? +
Confirm them on the park’s own site for your date. One page-one seller states “11am to 8pm, Fridays to Thursdays” and then says the park closes at 10pm on Thursdays and Fridays, the same days with two different closing times, on one page.

What everyone actually charges, and what it means for your group

Most operators quote per person. We quote per vehicle. That difference is invisible when you are travelling alone and decisive when you are four. These are the advertised rates of the operators currently on page one, read off their own booking pages.

The honest reading: if you are travelling as a couple, a shared seat is cheaper than our private car and we will tell you so. From three guests upward the per-car price wins, and from four it is not close. You are also not sharing a coach with forty strangers, not waiting at four hotel pickups before you start, and not tied to someone else’s schedule at the mosque.

Rates were read directly from each operator’s public booking page in July. Operators are unnamed deliberately, prices change, and this is a comparison of pricing models, not an attack on anyone. Check them yourself before you book.

If we have to cancel, what happens?

A cancellation policy that covers your obligations but not ours is only half a document. Here is our side of it, in writing.

If we have to cancel your booking, for weather, a vehicle issue, or driver illness, we will contact you as soon as we know and rebook you at no charge on the next date that works for you. You pay nothing for the cancelled booking.

If we need to send a different vehicle than the one you booked, we will ask you first rather than turning up in something you did not book.

This is separate from your own cancellation rights, which are unchanged: you can cancel free up to 12 hours before pickup. Because we take no deposit and no booking fee, there is no money of yours sitting with us either way, nothing to chase, and nothing to wait for.
